me and the Peruvian bear

Lynettea tells me this is a bear from Peru. It normally sits on its special Seagrass Chair in the kitchen.
If you want to sit in the chair you need to nurse the bear. "Which can make you feel more relaxed," she says.
I didn't feel relaxed having my photo taken with the bear. It was rather a nuisance and I ended up sitting on its hind paws.
A pity Lynettea has cut off the tip of my tail in this photo.
Can you see the extraordinarily alert expression in my eyes?

Hi Daisy, good to see you here. I have just dropped over to your place to leave you a message. It pays us cats to keep alert, especially now you are going outdoors.

Hi! That is a great chair so it is a shame the Peru bear is taking up so much room. I love your alert expression, it shows you're on top of things.
I don't get to go outside on a harness or stroller because of my FIV (I'm a rescued former feral) because the vet says I might catch something, but I love to sit in an open window and watch my mommy's bird feeders!
I wonder who that other good looking at "in the mirror" is. You'll have to let us know when you find out!

hello to all my kitty visitors. It is wonderful to read all your generous comments. I wish I could have all of you over here to have some catnip rubbed on your fur (especially Daisy who loves catnip). I will have to ask Lynettea to take a picture of it.

A special note to Mr Hendrix (Lynettea asked me to write this)
Lynettea's previous cat had FIV, as she adopted Lucy when she was a kitten from a feral family of cats nextdoor when their human passed away suddenly. It is a good idea to stay indoors, as Lynettea was very sorry when Lucy got run over by a car when she wandered onto the road in the early evening. Lynettea had palpitations for months after this and decided to build a big area outside for me with trellis and cat runways and a pond before I came to live with her.
Very nice photo of you Diamond! I didn't know they had bears in Peru!

Thanks for visiting my blog. :)

Welcome Boy, I must agree that I am a handsome cat, but you also are very distinctive and obviously have such a loving nature. Your mummy must be very fond of you.

thank you casey. I am interested in having a look. Will visit as soon as Lynettea stops tapping things on the keyboard. I have her fixed with my beautiful green eyes at the moment. I am standing on the computer. I think she is about to stop tapping.
Must check the windows.
