Coping in the heatwave
I am finding ways to keep cool in this heatwave. Adelaide is the hottest city.
S-p-r-a-w-l-e-d on the tiled floor is a bit cooler. If I didn't have that annoying camera flashed in my eyes, that is.
SHUT EYES and I will think of something nice.
Maybe I will help Lynettea read her book for book club. It is supposed to be about someone standing in a field of rye, I think. It isn't very interesting though, as there are absolutely no cats in it whatever. All the hero thinks about is me me me me me. I can relate to that.
Maybe he will be born in his next lifetime as a cat. Probably as a cat in a luxurious home that has nothing to do except complain. MIAOUWWWWW! Lynettea thinks I am being too harsh and she can find deeper existential meanings in the book.
HARSH? I meant it as praise.

It's hard to look cool when you're so hot, isn't it?
Got your message about wanting to help out in the new Cat Government. I'm going to need a cat just like me to be my advisor/right-hand cat - preferably a handsome Antipodean Russian Blue. I think you'll fit the bill perfectly!
Mine Mummy has that book too. I think you're really clever to read the book. Me, I fall asleep if the book has no pictors of birdies or chick-hens or handsome kitties.
