Diamond's last photos

I had a few photos of Diamond left in the camera, so am posting them. They were taken in the last week. Diamond's spring bluebells were just about finished with a sudden burst of warm weather and we decided to plant a new grape vine, as one of the very old vines had not shot into leaves this spring. You can see that Diamond had taken to supervising the new vine already as soon as it was planted and hopefully it will sprout fresh new leaves in his memory.

I am sure the new vine will sprout lots of lovely new foliage for summer.

So sorry to learn of your loss Lynettea. I have loved Diamond since I met him years ago through the kitties Snow and Forest. Snow and Forest went to the rainbow bridge a long time ago and will always stay in my heart and thoughts till my last day. I know it will be the same for you and Diamond. Our pets are our companions and shower us with love and affection unconditionally for the kindness we show to them.

I am glad that you are thinking of getting a new kitteh. I know that when the time comes, it will help you move on and lessen the heartache. I got Xamm and Arielle (my two new kitties) when I moved to Australia and have cherished their company since the day that they entered my life.

Our kittehs do make us better humans. Love for animals helps bring out something nice in a human being. And it enriches our soul and the cat's life.

Hope that you stay strong and recover from the loss soon. It will indeed be a lucky kitty that shares your life again. Best :)

Diamond was quite the "gardener." Or rather, snoopervisor. Even should the new vine not produce, you will always have happy memories of Diamond!

Tending Diamond's lovely garden will bring you comfort and joy in the future. When you have come to terms with the pain of his loss, the garden will remind you of the happy times you spent together and the love you shared. And his garden will be his gift to the new kitty he will eventually choose for you. And he will choose. That, he will.
