Befriending a bear

After some discussion with the other Pond Fish, we decided (under my guidance) to take over Diamond's sponsorship of a Moon Bear. Diamond's bear friend Emma sadly passed to the Rainbow Bridge shortly before Diamond also journeyed there and we like to think of them both running and playing together in the forest and grasslands.
Diamond then took on the sponsorship of Moon Bear George and George will now become our friend. I am posting some photos of our friendship certificate, which has Diamond's name on it. We were a bit worried about where we would find the resources to take up our friendship with George, but the Foodbearer has assured us that she will not cut our food supplies in payment.

Dawn, it is so cool that you and the other pond fishies have a bear friend. And especially that you food fund was not impacted :) We had to ask for an advance on our allowance when we befriended Bodo. Purrs,

What a lovely, thoughtful gesture, dear pond friends.
We are very sure Diamond is VERY pleased with your decision.
George looks like a gentle, sweet boy. He really is adorable: we cats didn't realize bears were that cute. Bet he is the only bear with pond friends! He deserves all of the care and support offered to him. Diamond's name is on the certificate but he wouldn't mind if his friends were included.

This is such a wonderful thing for you and the other pond fishes to do, Dawn. Surely Diamond is pleased, as he watches over you from the Bridge, that you have befriended George.
